During my seminars, attendees will envision immersing themselves in different cultures around the world. Through warm & relatable stories, my audience comes to realize how liberating and profound exploring can truly be. My lectures are motivational, encourage critical thinking, and are entertaining. They will always leave you with the desire to go in the world & visit the unknown!
My goal as a public speaker is to get people out their comfort zone and into the world; to get people out of their own way and towards their goals. With pictures and personal anecdotes, I want to share the beauty of our planet and teach about the kindness of strangers.

Day Two:
🍽 BREAKFAST, DINNER 🏨 Why Not Hotel 🌤 71-82°
Our tour begins with breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants for typical Guatemalan cuisine. After, we will walk to one of the biggest landmarks in Antigua, that has survived many natural disasters, Santa Catalina Arch. From there we tuk tuk to Cerro de la Cruz. A great viewpoint of the city. We finish our walking tour with refreshments in Central Park before heading back to the hotel for downtime before dinner. Tomorrow, we climb a volcano!
Day Three:
🍽 BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER 🏨 Volcano de Acatenango 🌤 Day time: 55° Night Time: 32°
Located about 40 minutes from Antigua, we take a "Chicken Bus", a true Guatemalan experience, to Saul's house, our guide for the volcano. We eat a light breakfast, meet his family, and hop in the back of a pick up truck to the beginning of the hike. When we arrive to camp, sit down and relax to wait for nightfall. to watch the lava explode from Volcan de Fuego. Optional: Hike to Volcano de Fuego to get as close as possible to the eruptions.
Day Four:
🍽 BREAKFAST, DINNER 🏨 Iguana Perdida Hostel 🌤 50-73°
Today, we wake up early to catch the sunrise from 12,000 feet. Hiking back down the takes around 2.5 hours and once at the bottom, we will head back to our hotel to shower and relax for a couple of hours. We are on the move to our next destination, Lake Atitlan. Once arriving to the dock, we will take a boat taxi to our accommodation in Santa Cruz. Enjoy the breeze and beautiful landscapes as we feel the energy of this special location. We will end the day with dinner and dessert at Iguana Perdida.
Day Five:
🍽 BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER 🏨 Iguana Perdida 🌤 50-73°
Grab your swimming trunks – we're hitting the lake! Hop on a boat taxi as we go to San Marcos for the day, from the dock, we will walk to a nature area where we can swim, cliff jump, kayak, and catch some sun rays. For lunch, we head to an incredibly tasty vegan restaurant that also has some great photo ops. After lunch, we walk to the "Eagles Nest". A community center with a great viewpoint of the lake. Feel free to support local artists, hop in the sauna, or have a cup of coffee. We walk back to the docks and catch a boat taxi back to our sanctuary and have free time for the rest of the night.
Day Six:
🍽 BREAKFAST, DINNER 🏨 Iguana Perdida 🌤 50-73°
We wake up at whatever time we want to. We take a boat taxi to another part of the lake, San Juan. This colorful Mayan town is full of artsy cafes, textile shops, and an overall peacefulness. While we explore this town, we make our way towards El Mirador. This viewpoint offers a different perspective of the lake. After the hike, we will grab lunch in town and have some time for souvenir shopping before heading back to Iguana Perdida.
